The Collection

Explore the beauty of Sardinian minerals in our museum.

The museum is enhanced by a mineralogical section. It consists of numerous mineral specimens of different types that come from Sardinian deposits.
More than 100 specimens representing more than 40 mineral species are on display. Some panels illustrate the main properties and crystallogenesis of minerals.
The section is complemented by brief notes on the geology of Sardinia and the events that affected the development of mining activities.
